Whether you are a crocheter or a knitter, you can make an Impact with Michigan Fine Yarns through our partnership with Knitted Knockers! This skin tones set is created using Cascade Ultra Pima – an approved Knitted Knockers yarn for makers following knitted pattern – in two colorways:
-Skin Tone (colors 3716, 3855, 3717, 3854 and 3719)
-Pinks (colors 3702, 3802, 3712, 3827 and 3711)

Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have had breast cancer and undergone mastectomy or lumpectomy. Traditional breast prosthetics can be hot, heavy, and sticky. They typically require special bras or camisoles with pockets and can’t be worn for weeks after surgery. Knitted Knockers are soft, comfortable, and beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. Cascade Ultra Pima is a versatile DK weight yarn made of super-soft Pima cotton, perfect for designing anything from sweaters to baby garments. Compared to other cotton yarns, Ultra Pima is much softer and doesn’t feel stiff, making it a great choice for warm-weather garments. It’s also easy to care for, making it ideal for baby projects and those with skin sensitivities. With its softness, versatility, and range of colors, Ultra Pima makes for great giftable projects too!
