Inspired by Roland Barthes’ legendary passage about the Winter Garden Photograph in Camera Lucida, the Winter Garden Stocking features a trellis motif surrounded by flowers and implied hearts. The stocking is knit in the round from the toe-up using the fair isle technique. The pattern is written with charts for Blue Sky Fibers’ Holiday Cheer and Holiday Frost Bundles with complementing skeins of Woolstok Yarn.

The kit includes 2 50g hanks of Woolstok 1306 Wild Thyme (Main Color), 2 50g hanks of Woolstok 1303 Highland Fleece (Contrast Color 1), and 1 Woolstok Bundle Holiday Cheer with three 12-yard mini hanks each of 7 colors (1300 Cast Iron, 1302 Gravel Road, 1303 Highland Fleece, 1306 Wild Thyme, 1309 Earth Ivy, 1310 Cranberry Compote, 1315 Red Rock) for a total of 21 mini hanks per bundle(Contrast Colors 2-6).
