Katie designed the Day Tripper Picnic Blanket exclusively for Sirdar, inspired by the pop art of Peter Blake and The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine. Perfect for experienced crocheters and beginners alike, Katie’s design is made up of five square motifs in a graphic abstract pattern, to bring the joy of summer to your crochet hook.
Katie chose eight summery shades of Hayfield Bonus DK for her Day Tripper Picnic Blanket and you’ll need a total of 12 balls and a 4mm hook to crochet your own. The Day Tripper Picnic Blanket, in Hayfield Bonus DK, features 12 balls in eight shades of bright joyous colors. We’ve created THREE kit options for you (original, neutral and pastels), described below.
